The Association

Swissparks.ch is the national association of incubators and technology parks.

Founded in 2000, it today comprises more than 40 members, about 30 full members hosting over 2’000 innovative companies, and a growing number of associated members.

The association pursues the following objectives for its members:

  • Develop networking activities for members and their tenants
  • Exchange on business models and methods / new initiatives
  • Consolidate information on start-ups across Switzerland
  • Evaluate impact of technology parks and incubators on Swiss economy
  • Act as Think Tank and link to political authorities, in order to be part of public debates about high tech start-ups and SME’s / business incubation
  • Act as counterpart of foreign organizations such as IASP (World), NBIA (USA), BVIZ (DE), Retis / CapIntech (Fr)

Our mission: Support to our member centers and their managers

A natural hub, Swissparks.ch promotes exchanges of experience and joint initiatives among members, uniting forces to bring breakthrough concepts to commercial success – worldwide!

We support our member centers as players of the regional economic promotion in the planning, the construction and operations of their centers, in the knowledge and technology transfer and in their national and international networking.

With regular workshops and seminars we provide continued education and facilitate sharing of best practice and experience among the members.

We stand for a dynamic start-up culture and sustainable growth on the basis of the specific and targeted infrastructure of our member centers. Their dedicated support contributes to Switzerland’s position as an innovative high-technology country.
