From 16 to 22 November 2020 more than 80 online-events, workshops and other activities for prospective entrepreneurs were held under Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Switzerland for the 10th time. Several thousand people followed virtually.
Initiated by Swissparks.ch and supported by Innosuisse, various start-up organizations (like Fongit, Business Parc Reinach, Business Angels Switzerland, >>venture>>, EPFL, USI, among others) were hosted and promoted nationwide, the universities of Lausanne (UNIL) and Geneva (Libérez-vos-idees) being very engaged partners.
Swissparks.ch itself offered a virtual workshop together with the Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation (see news).
30 organisers from 14 cities in 10 cantons
Raising more awareness for entrepreneurship is the main goal of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Switzerland. And this was even 2020 despite of “Covid-19” no problem! On the contrary: Because of the Corona pandemic almost all events were held online. Hence more visitors could follow virtually, independently from the location.

- several thousand participants (1000 alone from UNIL-side)
- at least 4000, if you take an average of 50 people/event
