Dear Swissparks.ch Members and External Partners
After the successful GEW 2020 with more than 90 events by 30 organizers in 14 cities, let’s start early gearing up for GEW 2021, Nov 8 – 14, 2021.
This year, Swissparks.ch hosts again GEW Switzerland. Over the years, GEW Switzerland managed to grow to a national event: during this week, companies and organizations from all over Switzerland offer exciting events, workshops and networking opportunities on a daily basis.
Despite the decline in entrepreneurial intentions during the pandemic, the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor reports that the rate of early-stage entrepreneurs in Switzerland remained relatively steady from 2019 (9.8%) to 2020 (9.2%). Switzerland’s National Expert Survey (NES) assessment scores were quite strong overall, particularly in the areas of “Access to entrepreneurial finance”, “R&D transfer” and “Commercial and professional infrastructure”. Nevertheless, the rate of established Business Ownership (EBO) declined significantly.
Therefore, entrepreneurial courage and perseverance is called for!
GEW is globally recognized as the week to position your organization not only as an active part in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, but also as a dedicated contributor to supporting and promoting start-ups and helping strengthen networks. This year, the GEW Week will take place from 8 to 14 November 2021.
We would like to invite you to join our successful campaign and to organize an event during this week. Your local event will be promoted by us and enjoy visibility at the national level, www.gew-switzerland.ch. We can suggest event topics and speakers, just let us know.
